Composition

The Commission consists of thirteen (13) scientists of high repute from sections /fields related to its terms of reference and competence, including the Chair and the Vice-Chair.

Following the expression of a positive opinion by the Special Permanent Committee on Institutions and Transparency of the Hellenic Parliament at its session on April 30, 2026, regarding the appointment of Mr. Charalambos Tsekeris as Chair of the National Commission for Bioethics and Technoethics, the composition of the Commission was defined by Decision 3678 (15.05.2026) of the Minister of State.
